British S’MORMON

Ingredients:

1. Homemade Digestives (recipe)
2. Cadbury Dairy Milk
3. Marshmallow Creme

Commentary:

This recipe was the brainchild of my brother, Alan, who spent two years as a missionary in England. Rather than buy a pack of Digestives, I found a recipe to make my own from scratch. They turned out pretty good, but the baking time was a bit excessive so keep your eye on the prize as they bake — for S’MORMON purposes I prefer them soft and malleable, rather than brittle and crackery. The Cadbury Dairy Milk was excellent, but my brother recommended using a Galaxy bar, which is unfortunately more difficult to track down on this side of the pond.
